First up: co-founder Ant McCormack.
If you’ve crossed paths with Ant, you’ll know he’s about two things - backing creators and building real, lasting connections.
How it started.
Back in 2012, before “the creator economy” was even a thing, Ant and co-founder Farhad Meher-Homji saw something electric brewing on YouTube.
Creators were experimenting. Taking risks. Rethinking what storytelling could bend, and building audiences that traditional media could only dream of.
So they rolled up their sleeves and built something to support it and called it Changer.
To Ant, connection isn’t a side effect of community - it’s the point.
That’s why in the early days of Changer he started The Friday Fry Up - a monthly BBQ where creators, industry heads, and partners could hang out without an agenda. Just real talk, hot food, and shared ideas.
It’s also why in 2024 he kicked off Creator Run Club - a simple, pre-event jog that’s now grown into a global crew of Creator Economy folks who catch up for movement and connection at all of the major creator events.
Ant has always believed in backing creators as people first - helping them connect, grow, and build something awesome.
Off the grid (sort of)
When Ant’s not traveling the world growing the creator economy, you’ll find him enjoying the quieter side of life - living in the country with cattle for neighbours and the beach just down the road.
In his spare time he’s likely out on an adventure with his Jack Russell x, Juno - chasing trails, ideas, and the next great conversation.
